Shipping and Delivery Policy

Delivery Policy Any delivery note, waybill, or invoice (copy or original) signed by the Customer or a third party engaged to transport the goods and held by iStorez shall serve as prima facie proof that delivery was made to the Customer in accordance with the quality and quantity specified.

All orders and any variations to orders are subject to these terms and conditions. Only written orders and modifications will be accepted by iStorez. However, at its sole discretion, iStorez may choose to accept and process telephonic orders or variations. iStorez reserves the right to refuse delivery or collection of any order until it receives a written order form.

iStorez may, with prior consent from the Customer (which shall not be unreasonably withheld), split the delivery of goods into different quantities and dates as deemed necessary.

iStorez reserves the right to invoice and deliver each order separately.

The risk of damage to or loss of goods passes to the Customer upon signing the delivery receipt upon delivery to the Customer or their nominated representative. The Customer undertakes to fully insure the goods until they are paid for in full.

iStorez is authorized to engage third-party couriers on its behalf and on terms it deems fit to transport all purchased goods.

If the Customer opts to use their own third-party courier, the Customer indemnifies iStorez against any claims or liabilities that may arise from such an arrangement.

Delivery, installation, commencement, and performance times provided are estimates and not binding on iStorez. While iStorez will make every effort to meet estimated delivery times, time is not of the essence in this agreement unless expressly agreed upon in writing. iStorez shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from incorrect or delayed deliveries, tampering, or installation delays.

Invoices and deliveries will only be processed once payment has been cleared in iStorez’s account.

Deliveries will be scheduled according to the weekly delivery plan.

Exceptions:

  • Stock shortages may result in order delays or partial deliveries.

  • Public holidays or extraordinary events may lead to temporary adjustments in the delivery schedule.

Orders for Collection from iStorez Premises:

  • Proof of identification may be required from the person collecting the order. Please ensure that an original driver’s license or certified identity document is available.

  • Customers should wait for confirmation of stock availability from their sales representative before arranging collection.

Orders for Delivery:

  • By default, parcels will be shipped using the most cost-effective delivery service unless the Customer specifies otherwise.

  • Orders valued at R2,500 excl. VAT will be delivered at no charge via the most cost-effective service.

  • Customers may opt for a faster delivery service at an additional charge.

  • Extra surcharges, including fuel costs, outlying area fees, and drive-away surcharges, will be for the Customer’s account.

  • Delivery charges for each service are quoted during checkout and will be added to the invoice where applicable.

  • Delivery times are estimates and do not guarantee a specific delivery date
